The 2026 RCS Summer Meal program starts June 2 and any child under 18 can participate. Breakfast and lunch will be available June 2-July 24 with curbside and dine-in options available. For ages 18 and up, breakfast is $2.50 and lunch is $4.25 (exact change only).
Oakland Middle will host our Charger Camp for incoming students on July 30th from 9am - 1pm. Students who attend will learn all about what it means to be an Oakland Middle School Student.

Did you know healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries in Rutherford County?
Smyrna High School will host Inside the Industry: Healthcare Spotlight for students and families interested in exploring healthcare careers. Coordinated by Rutherford Works, the event takes place from 4:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 at Smyrna High School, 100 Bulldog Drive.
During the event, industry professionals will share insights about traditional and emerging career opportunities, while representatives from post-secondary institutions detail their programs. Families will also get an opportunity to get hands-on inside Rutherford County Schools’ new, state-of-the-art Mobile Learning Lab focused on healthcare.
